How do I address an email application?
Advice: Keep it short and concise. Address the position and your name in the subject line. In the body of the email, address the person listed on the posting. If there isn’t one, address to ‘ Hiring Manager’. State the job you are applying to and note that your resume and cover letter (and any other requested materials) are attached. For example, ‘I am very interested in applying for….’ ‘I’ve attached…’ ‘If there is any additional information you need…’ and end with your name, phone number and email address. Ensure you follow the employer’s instructions and you have proofread your email. Make sure your attachments are labelled appropriately and attached before sending. Good luck!
