One of the most interesting workshops in the program for me was about goal setting. It is important to set goals so you know where you are going. If you don’t know where you are going, you might end up somewhere else.

We learned about SMART goals:

The SMART in SMART goals stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.

Defining these parameters as they pertain to your goal helps ensure that your objectives are attainable within a certain time frame. This approach eliminates generalities and guesswork, sets a clear timeline, and makes it easier to track progress and identify missed milestones. I now know the importance of setting short and long-term goals.
