Following up with an employer once you applied is always a good idea. Generally speaking, waiting at least 2-3 business days after a posting has closed before following up is best to allow an employer time to process applications.  Try to find out the hiring manager’s name so you can speak directly to the decision maker and don’t be afraid to ask for timelines and more information about the interview process.
